The upcoming Glen Huntly Village Street Festival is your chance to support the local community and businesses by shopping locally and supporting jobs in the area.
“It’s really important for local residents to buy produce and other items at local businesses to help keep the Glen Huntly area strong, and to support employment in the area,” Member for Caulfield David Southwick MP said.
“The Glen Huntly Village Street Festival provides the perfect opportunity for locals to check out shops in Glen Huntly, use local services and meet friends for a coffee at your local café,” he said.
The Glen Huntly Village Street Festival will run on the 15th March at the railway car park north from 10am to 4pm.
Festivities for the day include a bouncing castle, animals, hacky sack competitions and face painting. As well as roving performers, a treasure hunt, trader stalls, bake sales and a cafe and food area featuring cuisine from Glen Huntly food traders and cafes.
