No price relief for Victorians under Daniel Andrews

With energy retailers confirming energy price relief for SA, NSW and Queensland as early as next month, the spotlight is on Daniel Andrews who has done nothing to ensure Victorians don’t miss out.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, David Southwick:

“Under Labor, Victorians are paying 16% more for power this year alone while other States receive price freezes and falls.

“According to the St Vincent De Paul Society, the average Victorian household has seen their annual energy bill increase by $300 since the closure of Hazelwood.

“It’s no coincidence that Victorians are paying some of the highest energy prices in the country since Daniel Andrews forced the closure of Hazelwood power station only 15 months ago.”
