As disconnections spike, Daniel Andrews has his head in the clouds

Yesterday’s Affordability Report form Victoria’s Energy and Water Ombudsman highlights the impact of Labor’s ongoing energy affordability crisis.

Whilst Daniel Andrews announces his latest renewable energy election bribe, the number of Victorians being disconnected from an essential service has jumped 25% over the last quarter.

Actual electricity disconnections have now increased by more than 82% since December 2017, as households feel the price pain of Labor’s botched energy policies.

Only a Liberal Nationals Government led by Matthew Guy will get the ideology out of energy and ease cost of living pressures for all Victorians.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, David Southwick:

“While Daniel Andrews holds shallow press conferences with pie in the sky ideas, real Victorians are having their power shut off at record rates.

Labor has shown time and time again it would rather play politics with energy than support low-income Victorians who are struggling to pay their bills and keep their lights on.”
