Inkerman Road Bike Corridor

Concerns raised over Inkerman Rd bike corridor!

The Glen Eira Council’s motivation to form the proposed bike path aims to ease the traffic congestion attributable to the Government plan to squeeze 70% of the 150,000 new Victorians every year into inner suburbs such as Caulfield. We’re coping more than our fair share!

Cycling plays an important role in our transport network, however, the current plan that does not address safety issues for cyclists and pedestrians, nor does it address the essential nature of resident accessibility to their homes.

Today in the Parliament of Victoria I called on the Minister for Roads to consider the best interests of Caulfield residents and seek an alternate route for the bike path.
